Giuseppe Grossi was a brilliant businessman, heir to a family that in the early 20th century had been responsible for the hotel industry in Rimini and on the Romagnola coast, an inventor and promotor of successful events, an untiring leader who took groups of fearless motorcyclists around the world. But Grossi, known to all simply as “Pucci”, was above an all-round man of sport: from his debut on the waves as a windsurfer to motorcycles, competing in enduro and trials events before moving onto four wheels with his debut in the world of rallying. It was in this particular discipline that found fame, becoming an undisputed protagonist on dry land and collecting numerous titles.
This book, written at the behest of his wife Sara and his children Michela and Angelo, looks at the private and sporting life of this versatile figure, drawing on memories of those who knew him well and a wealth of photographic material.
The work is enriched by an entire chapter on Giuseppe Grossi's rally career written by the journalist and friend Leo Todisco Grande.
